Here are some things small groups are... and are not:
Are: Small groups are gatherings of 4-20 people who meet together every one or two weeks to socialize and learn about the Bible together.
Not: They are not gatherings of biblically educated super-Christians. The members are normal people just like you.
Are: Small groups are fun, open environments for group discussion based on a prepared biblical topic, led by a prepared facilitator.
Not: They are not Sunday school classes or teacher-led Bible studies.
Are: Small groups welcome visitors with open arms and warm hospitality.
Not: A small group is not an exclusive social club where you have to apply for membership or wait for an opening.
